Gaga risks outrage with rifle bra following school shooting

LADY Gaga risked sparking outrage when she wore a bra with plastic assault rifles for cups — less than a month after 26 people lost their lives in a US school shooting.
The superstar singer donned the controversial outfit during the North American leg of her Born This Way Ball tour.
And it is likely to upset families of the victims of killer Adam Lanza, who gunned down 20 children and six adults in the massacre in December.
Lady Gaga is known for her outrageous stage outfits — and among the wardrobe choices for her concert in Vancouver, Canada, were a meat dress and a pink-dyed fur stole.
Wearing the meat costume, the singer was wheeled on to the stage by two dancers in a contraption echoing a butcher’s shop as big fake carcasses were hanging on hooks by her side.
Gaga is sticking with her outrageous costumes despite being criticised by other stars for wearing fur and raw meat.
Sharon Osbourne berated her for it, saying: “The fact that defenseless animals have been killed so you can get your picture in the press is abhorent to me.”
But despite the backlash against her wardrobe choices, Gaga also debuted the pink-dyed fur stole at the gig.
A yellow latex dress and a white outfit that looked like a mix between a space suit and a beekeeper’s outfit were also among her outlandish stage garb.
And Gaga – real name Stefani Germanotta – is known to be unapologetic about her outfits. Hitting back at earlier criticism from fans over her wearing of fur coats, she wrote: “I am choosing not to comment on whether or not the furs I purchase are faux fur-pile or real because I think it hypocritical not to acknowledge the python, ostrich, cow hide, leather, lamb alligator, ‘kermit’ and not to mention meat, that I have already worn.
“You see a carcass, I see a museum pièce de résistance.”
